It’s hard to imagine something more fundamentally human than self-experience. But as it happens, we’ve been doing self-experience wrong. Not entirely wrong, of course, but quite a bit. “Wrong” here isn’t a personal opinion; I’m basing it upon a system analysis: “Right,” within such an analysis, would be a condition in which the various parts were interacting smoothly. “Wrong” would be where they were working against one another.
