This will be our last regular post here at Free-Man’s Perspective. This site will remain and it’s existing posts will continue in rotation, but our new posts (though less frequent) will be at Substack. There will be two types of these posts:
The Findings, which you can find here. These will be our general posts.
Ten-Second Thoughts, which you can find here. These will be short posts… seed posts. Humans require about ten seconds of focused attention to properly absorb a new idea. Less than that and it pours off of us, in whole or in part. Ten-Second Thoughts are short, direct concepts that are worth ten dedicated seconds of your time.
Our subscription newsletters – Free-Man’s Perspective and Parallel Society – will continue through the end of 2025.
Our online store will continue at https://veraverba.com/ (Though it’s under construction today.) The back issues of our newsletters will be re-packaged as The Findings publications, but that process will take some time.
Everyone receiving this by email will be automatically subscribed to the Substack mailings mentioned above. (You can, of course, unsubscribe if you wish.)
Beginning January 1st, we will be publishing quarterly updates on our shift from an old era into a new one. This will be called The Wreckage & The Rebuild, and it will be by subscription only. Everyone on our list will be notified as this launches and will be given an opportunity to subscribe. This quarterly report, however, will not be on history, philosophy and so on, as was Free-Man’s Perspective. It’s content will be closer to the What’s Going On section of our Parallel Society issues, albeit with expanded coverage. There will be less teaching and more reporting on actual developments, with a medium- or long-term focus rather than short-term. It will be of particular use to those with a close interest in commerce, technology and societal evolution.
These changes reflect the end of our 14-year FMP journey and my decision to cut back my workload.
